How to Become a SuppLife Franchise Owner
Buying a franchise is a big decision, especially if it is your first business. A clear process protects both you and the franchisor. Here is how the path to owning a SuppLife Vitamins and Nutrition store works, from your first inquiry to opening day. Want the big picture first? Start with our franchise overview or read why people choose to own a SuppLife.

The 10 steps from inquiry to opening
-
Step 1: Submit a franchise inquiry
Fill out the franchise inquiry form or call (860) 485-5244. Tell us about your background, your goals, and the area you are interested in. There is no obligation.
-
Step 2: Have an introductory call
A member of the SuppLife team will reach out for a conversation about the model, what ownership looks like day to day, and whether it matches your goals. Ask anything. This call is as much about you evaluating us as us getting to know you.
-
Step 3: Complete the application
If it makes sense to keep going, you will complete a franchise application covering your experience, background, and financial readiness. Before we share detailed system materials, we ask candidates to sign a confidentiality (non-disclosure) agreement.
-
Step 4: Receive and review the FDD
We provide our Franchise Disclosure Document. Under the FTC Franchise Rule, you must receive it at least 14 calendar days before you sign a binding agreement or pay any money. Use that time well: read every item, review fees and the estimated initial investment, and go through it with a franchise attorney and an accountant.
-
Step 5: Attend Discovery Day
Visit our Bristol, CT flagship at 1235 Farmington Avenue. Meet the leadership team, see the shake bar, lounge, and sales floor in action, talk about potential territories, and get your remaining questions answered in person.
-
Step 6: Approval and signing
If both sides agree it is a fit, you will receive final approval and sign the franchise agreement. Your protected territory and obligations are defined in that agreement.
-
Step 7: Site selection and lease
With guidance from SuppLife, you will evaluate locations in your territory and negotiate a lease. We help you think through visibility, parking, co-tenants, and how the space fits the store layout.
-
Step 8: Training
You and your key staff complete the initial training program before opening. It covers store operations, product knowledge, sales and customer experience, point-of-sale and systems, and leadership, as described in the FDD.
-
Step 9: Buildout, hiring, and opening prep
Build out your store to SuppLife design standards, hire and train your team, place your initial product order, and set up your shake bar. A soft opening lets your team practice before the big day.
-
Step 10: Grand opening and ongoing support
Launch with grand opening and local marketing guidance, then keep improving with the operations manual, supplemental training, and ongoing support from the SuppLife team.
How long does it take?
Every owner’s timeline is different. Financing, finding the right site, lease negotiation, permitting, buildout, and training all affect when you open. We will map out a realistic plan with you once we understand your market, but we do not promise a fixed opening date.
Tips for moving through the process
- Take notes on every conversation and compare them against what the FDD says.
- Line up your advisors early. A franchise attorney and an accountant are worth it.
- Get your finances organized before Discovery Day so you can move at your own pace.
- Ask hard questions. Our list of questions to ask a franchisor before you sign is a good place to start.
