Why Own a SuppLife Franchise?
If you have ever caught yourself thinking about owning your own business, you are not alone. Career changers, people leaving corporate jobs, veterans, and gym regulars who want to turn a passion for fitness into a livelihood all look at franchise opportunities for the same reason: they want to build something of their own without starting from a blank page. SuppLife is a health and wellness retail franchise built around one idea. A nutrition store should be a place people want to visit, not just a shelf of tubs.
This page explains what makes the SuppLife model different and what kind of support franchise owners receive, based on our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and operations materials. For the full overview, visit our SuppLife franchise page.

A store people come back to
Our Bristol, Connecticut flagship at 1235 Farmington Avenue combines three things most vitamin shops keep separate:
- A shake bar. Protein shakes, energy drinks, and acai bowls give customers a reason to stop in several times a week, not just when a tub runs out.
- A lounge. Comfortable seating turns a quick errand into a place to hang out after a workout, meet a friend, or ask a question without feeling rushed.
- A curated supplement and vitamin selection. Sports nutrition, everyday vitamins, and wellness products chosen with care, not just stacked high.
That mix is what makes SuppLife feel like a neighborhood destination instead of a transaction.

Guidance over pressure
The SuppLife culture is simple. Listen first, recommend what is right for the person, and never push a product just because it is on promotion. Trained, knowledgeable staff are the heart of the experience. For owners, that culture is a real advantage: customers who trust your team tend to return and tell their friends. Our training is built to help you hire and develop people who share that approach.
A brand with real retail roots
SuppLife is a family-owned brand founded in 2019 in Bristol, CT. Founder Tim Terwilliger came up through athletics, sales, manufacturing, product formulation, and marketing, and he still works the sales floor. When you talk to SuppLife, you talk to people who run a store every day. Franchises are offered by SuppLife Franchising, LLC.
Support and training for new owners
You do not need to figure out retail alone. As described in our FDD and operations manual, SuppLife franchise support generally includes:
- Pre-opening guidance: help with site selection, lease guidance, and buildout and design to SuppLife brand standards.
- An initial training program before you open, covering store operations, product knowledge, sales and the customer experience, point-of-sale and systems, and leadership for you and key staff.
- An operations manual delivered through our online learning system, so procedures are easy to reference.
- Guidance on approved products and suppliers, so your shelves and shake bar match the brand.
- Grand opening and local marketing guidance to help you introduce your store to the community.
- Supplemental training and ongoing field support after you open.
The exact scope, timing, and any costs of training and support are spelled out in the FDD (see Item 11), which we provide after you inquire.
Who tends to be a good fit
- First-time business owners who want a defined system and a team to call.
- Corporate professionals ready to trade meetings for a business they can see and shape.
- Veterans who bring leadership, discipline, and a mission-first mindset.
- Fitness and wellness enthusiasts who already talk nutrition with everyone at the gym.
- Retail and hospitality managers who are ready to own the store instead of running it for someone else.
Prior supplement experience helps but is not everything. Integrity, people skills, and a willingness to be present in your store matter more.
What we will not tell you
We do not publish earnings claims, and we do not list fees or investment amounts on this website. Those details belong in the Franchise Disclosure Document, which you should read carefully with a franchise attorney and an accountant. We want you to make this decision with clear eyes.
